安源煤矿工人是安源工人运动的中坚力量,在中国工运史上创造了辉煌的成就。20世纪初期,安源煤矿工人深受帝国主义、封建主义、官僚资本主义的沉重压迫,劳动状况与生活状况极差。安源煤矿工人出身低、工种多、体力繁重,工人众多且集中;他们劳动时间长,劳动环境恶劣,劳动损害严重;食宿条件差,基本生活得不到保障;工资水平低,社会地位低,业余活动单调落后。这些情况充分表明,安源煤矿工人所受的剥削和压迫程度很深,具有很强的革命性。对安源煤矿工人劳动与生活相关史料的系统挖掘与研究,可以进一步丰富中国工人运动史与中国革命史研究。

Anyuan coal miners are the backbone of the Anyuan workers'movement and have created brilliant achievements in the history of the Chinese labor movement.Oppressed by imperialism,feudalism and bureaucrat capitalism,the working and living conditions of Anyuan coal miners were extremely poor at the beginning of the 20th century.With humble upbringing,they faced numerous difficulties such as heavy physical work,various work types,long working hours,poor working and accommodation conditions,serious labor damage,low wages,low social status,and monotonous leisure activities.All these conditions fully demonstrate the extent of exploitation and oppression suffered by Anyuan coal miners;thus,they are revolutionary.The systematic excavation and study of historical materials related to the labor and life of Anyuan coal miners can further enrich the study of the history of the Chinese workers'movement and the history of the Chinese revolution.
