Practice of Memorial Architecture Peculiarity:Reconstruction and Expansion of Memorial Hall of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea

通过对抗美援朝纪念馆改扩建工程的设计回顾,阐述了纪念馆建筑改扩建工程设计过程中所采取的原则、目的与策略,分析纪念性建筑的主题营造、建筑形式、空间序列,强调建筑的原生性与地域性、因地而生与融合共生的适宜性理念。

With a review of Memorial Hall of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea in terms of its reconstruction and expansion design,this paper presents the principle,purpose and strategy of design in reconstruction and expansion project of memorial architecture.It also analyzes theme creation,formalization of architecture and space sequences to highlight the adaptation concept of architecture origin and regional culture,architecture design,due to local natural conditions and even integration with different conditions.
