From the awakening and exploration in the new era to the development and shaping in the struggle period,the paper interprets the historical connotation of the evolution of the May 4th discourse of the Communist Party of China which has not only gone through the devastation of the extreme left ideological trend,but also regained its legitimacy value in the confusion and reflection.Combing the interaction between the May 4th discourse and the ideological construction from the historical development track and the theoretical logic chain,it provides the realistic enlightenment for the Communist Party of China to accurately grasp the rational dimension of the current ideological scientific construction,and to promote the stability of ideological work.
