在对中国青铜器的认知、收藏和展览过程中,西方学界开始了对中国青铜器的研究,并涌现出罗杰·弗莱、福开森、高本汉、巴希霍菲尔、罗樾、顾立雅等一批杰出的青铜器研究学者,他们在探索中国青铜器鉴赏和研究方法的过程中,也在不断地向西方传播着中国艺术文化。

In the first half of the 20th century,with the deepening of western archaeological explorations in the Far East and the deepening exchanges between China and the West,more and more western scholars began to pay attention to Chinese bronze ware collection in the public and private fields in the West.In the process of cognition,collection and exhibition of Chinese bronze wares,western scholars have also begun to study Chinese bronze wares.A group of outstanding bronze ware research scholars,such as Roger Fry,Ferguson,Klas Bernhard,Bachhofer,Max Loehr and Creel,have emerged.In the process of exploring Chinese bronze ware appreciation and research methods,they are also constantly spreading Chinese bronze ware culture to the West.
