Objective To investigate the clinical effect of 40%oxygen concentration on resuscitation in asphyxiated neonates. Methods From May 2015 to May 2019,62 cases of asphyxia newborns treated in the Neonatal care unit of our hospital were collected and randomly divided into two groups(A and B)according to the random number table method, with 31 cases in each group.Children in group A used 40%oxygen for resuscitation and ventilation, and children in group B used normal air for resuscitation and ventilation. The Apgar scores at 1 minute,5 minutes after birth, and 10 minutes after birth, starting crying time, spontaneous breathing time, resuscitation success rate between the two groups were compared. Results Apgar scores of asphyxiated newborns in group A at 1 minute,5 minutes after birth, and 10 minutes after birth were higher than those in group B,at the same time, the time of starting to cry and established spontaneous breathing of the children in group A were faster than those in group B.The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference in the resuscitation success rate between the two groups of children(P>0.05).Conclusion In the resuscitation of asphyxiated neonates,40%oxygen concentration ventilation is given, which has a good therapeutic effect, can speed up crying and restore spontaneous breathing in children, which has certain clinical significance.
