也谈跨文化研究理论与“个体思想的闭合”

摘要 曲卫国认为跨文化研究理论具有导致个体思想闭合的倾向,而且其严重性令人意识到改变这一现状的紧迫性。笔者对此具有同感,但在分析问题以及解决问题的思路与出路方面,笔者看法不尽相同。跨文化研究及其理论的初衷就是为了打开眼界、防止个体思想闭合,跨文化研究是外语学科的立足根基,因此需要的是更严谨更科学的跨文化研究方法,呼唤克服个体思想闭合的跨文化研究理论。这是跨文化研究者与跨文化研究成果解读者的共同使命。 An article published recently by Qu Weiguo holds that theories of intercultural studies tend to cause the closing of the individual mind and that such a tendency is so serious that it poses an exigency for us to address. Although we feel much the same as Qu, we do not all agree with Qu on ways of looking at the issue and meeting the exigency. Intercultural studies and its theories are initially aimed to open up new perspectives and overcome the closing of the individual mind and what is more, intercultural studies is the backbone of foreign language education. Therefore, what we need should be more rigid and scientific methods of intercultural studies that will overcome the closing of the individual mind. This is a task of both intercultural researchers and intercultural studies' interpreters.
