摘要
在中国近现代音乐史领域,有关中西音乐互动的碎片化研究比比皆是,但从整体上观照“中国近代音乐转型过程”的总体叙事阙如。《海上乐事》的出版不仅还原了该时段长期缺位的历史史实,同时从学术观念与叙事范式的视角思考音乐史问题。该书以大量晚清新闻媒体的前沿“另类”史料,将上海音乐置入世界范围的整体观之下,采用了一种全景式年代下的主题叙事体例,不仅改写了前人囿于资料所定论的某些历史,还在叙事方式上使材料能够有效地服务于各个主题,清晰地展现出自身叙事的发展轨迹,更为音乐史书写提供了较大的综合叙事空间。
In the field of modern Chinese music history,there have been a lot of fragmented studies on the interaction between Chinese and Western music,but lacks the overall narrative of“the transformation process of modern Chinese music”.The publication of Musical Affairs of Shanghai not only restores the historical facts of this period,but also reflects the music history from the perspective of academic concept and narrative paradigm.Based on a large number of newly-discovered and“alternative”historical records of news media in the late Qing Dynasty,this book puts Shanghai music into a global view and adopts a theme narrative style in the panoramic era.It not only rewrites some historical facts that have been determined by predecessors with limited materials,but also enables the materials to support various themes in an effective manner,thus to clearly show the development track of its own narrative.In addition,it further provides a large comprehensive narrative space for the writing of music history.
