The standardized training of resident doctors is an important stage of postgraduate education for medical students.Student physicians have certain theoretical knowledge base,however,they still need to learn standard diagnosis and treatment plan during the training period,to improve clinical practice ability.The book knowledge may be out of date,and student physicians face the patients'morbidity at a certain moment,lacking of a comprehensive understanding of disease from onset,development to outcome.It requires the use of timely and updated clinical diagnosis and treatment guidelines.The guide serves as a blueprint for the teaching of teachers and a tool for students to learn new knowledge.Clinical diagnosis and treatment guidelines take evidence-based medicine as evidence,combining with the clinical practice of each country to form clinical practice guidelines.This paper introduces the benefit and practice of the vertigo related clinical diagnosis and treatment guide,which is represented by the diagnosis and treatment guide of Meniere's disease,integrating into the standardized training and teaching of otolaryngology residents,cultivating their rigorous thinking,analysis and judgment ability,and standardized diagnosis and treatment habits,so as to achieve the ultimate goal of standardized training of residents.
