This paper summarizes the concept and functional characteristics of smart library,analyzes the importance of constructing the smart libraries in colleges and universities,probes into three bottleneck problems of technology,resource and quality in constructing the smart libraries in colleges and universities,and puts forward the paths of constructing the smart libraries in colleges and universities from four dimensions of consolidating the concept of construction,optimizing the structure of information technology,strengthening the construction of library’s information resources and cultivating the team of intelligent librarians.
