摘要
汽车产业的国际交流中涉及大量汽车工程专业英语。本文分析了汽车工程专业英语具有词汇专属性强、构词方式多样化,句式结构客观、复杂、严谨的特征,并从词汇和句式层面探讨了汉译策略,以期提高汽车工程专业英语翻译的准确性。
The international communication of automobile industry involves a lot of specialized English for automobile engineering.Such English terms are characterized by strong vocabulary specificity,diversified word-formation and complex sentence structures with objectivity and accuracy.This paper intends to analyze the strategies for translating automotive engineering English with the hope to improve the accuracy of the Chinese.
