In recent years,based on the development of my country’s tourism,Internet and sharing economy,the homestay industry has gradually emerged,and more and more people have tried to switch from the traditional OTA hotel booking platform to the short-term rental platform for homestays.As demand continues to rise and landlords enter the homestay market,short-term homestay rental platforms such as Tujia,Meituan Homestay,Xiaozhu Short-term Rental,and Airbnb have developed rapidly,bringing new vitality to tourist accommodation.This article is based on the short-term rental industry in the homestay industry,using the SCP paradigm in the theory of industrial organization to analyze the market structure,market behavior and market performance of the short-term rental industry in the homestay industry,and put forward opinions and suggestions on the short-term rental platform industry.
