摘要
公元前800到公元前200年是雅斯贝尔斯所说的轴心时代。轴心时代的东西方社会都处于文明发展的繁荣时期,诞生了许多著名的思想家与教育家。博雅教育的理念就是在这一时期萌生的。中国与古希腊的教育家基于类似的社会背景提出了内涵不完全一致的博雅教育思想,同时中西的博雅教育理念又有着许多共通之处。对轴心时代中西博雅教育思想与实践的比较可以帮助我们探究中西教育传统的根底,以加深对现实教育的理解。
800 BC to 200 BC is what Jaspers called the Axial Age.Both the eastern and western societies in the Axis Age were in a period of prosperity of civilization development,and many famous thinkers and educators were born.The concept of liberal arts education was born during this period.Based on similar social backgrounds,Chinese and ancient Greek educators put forward liberal education thoughts with incomplete connotations.At the same time,both Chinese and Western liberal arts education concepts have many similarities.The comparison between Chinese and Western liberal arts educational thoughts and practices in the Axis Era can help us explore the foundations of Chinese and Western educational traditions to deepen our understanding of realistic education.
