摘要 在传统的高职公共英语教学中,学生普遍缺乏学习兴趣,毕业后不能满足工作岗位的需求,主要体现为职业能力不足。该文从高职高专英语技能竞赛入手,从教学内容、教学资源、教学过程及教学评价四个方面,阐述如何通过日常教学活动与技能竞赛的相互融合,改进高职公共英语课堂教学模式,激发高职学生的英语学习兴趣,从而提升他们的英语交际能力与英语职业能力,增强他们的就业竞争力,使他们能够满足生产、建设、管理第一线的需要。 In traditional public English teaching of higher vocational education,students generally lack learning interest and cannot meet the needs of jobs after graduation,which is mainly reflected in poor professional ability.Starting with the English skills competition in higher vocational colleges,and from the four aspects of teaching content,teaching resources,teaching process and teaching evaluation,this paper elaborates on how to improve the public English classroom teaching mode in higher vocational colleges and stimulate the interest of higher vocational students in English learning through the integration of daily teaching activities with skills competitions,so as to improve the English communication skills and professional English skills of higher vocational students,enhance their employment competitiveness,and enable them to meet the first-line needs of production,construction,and management.
