Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) refers to a clinicopathological syndrome caused by alcohol and other definite liver damage factors, which is characterized by diffuse hepatocyte bullous fat. According to epidemiological investigation, NAFLD has become one of the important liver diseases endangering human health. More and more studies have shown that NAFLD is closely related to functional gastrointestinal disorders(FGID)(intestinal-hepatic axis, endocrine hormones). This paper summarizes the relationship between NAFLD and FGID and provides important theoretical basis for clinical guidance and treatment.
