民国时期北京医学会的成立及其主要活动

The Establishment of Beijing Medical Association and Its Main Activities during the Period of Republic of China

北京医学会(中华医学会北平分会)1922年10月在北京西总布胡同燕寿堂成立,是我国成立较早的地方性科技社团。学会倡导“医界同志,群策群力,共谋医道改良、会务振兴”的宗旨,并开展了大量活动,如定期举行学术演讲集会、承办《中华医学杂志》、筹备抗战救护委员会等。北京医学会的成立及其发展为北京医学科技工作者提供了学术交流的平台,增进了医学业者的理论知识和业务水平,极大地推动了近代西医科学在北京的发展与传播。

Beijing Medical Association(Beijing Branch of Chinese Medical Association)is one of the earliest local science and technology associations in China,which was founded in October 1922 in Beijing Xizongbu Hutong Yanshoutang.The society advocates the aim of“comrades in the medical field,work together to improve the medical route and revitalize the medical affairs”,and has carried out a lot of activities,such as regularly holding academic lecture assemblies,organizing the Association’s official newspaper“Chinese Medical Journal”,and preparing the Anti-Japanese War Ambulance Committee.The establishment and development of Beijing Medical Association provided a platform for academic exchanges among medical scientists in Beijing,enhanced the theoretical knowledge and professional level of medical practitioners,and greatly promoted the development and dissemination of modern western medicine in Beijing.
