In the process of social and economic development,production and life have caused great damage to forestry resources.Forestry resources are in a state of continuous reduction,endangering the development of economy and natural environment.This paper emphasizes the importance of afforestation in state-owned forest farms,and discusses the afforestation management technology in state-owned forest farms from the aspects of land preparation,afforestation,tree species selection,land preparation,new afforestation tending and forest farm management.
