摘要
Xihaigu Prefecture,in Northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,is one of the most impoverished areas in China.The prefecture includes seven poverty-stricken counties,and two poverty-stricken districts.In 1972,the United Nations(UN)classified Xihaigu as"one of the least-suitable areas for human habitation in the world."During the past three decades,women,who are both participants and beneficiaries of the poverty-alleviation projects conducted in Xihaigu,have been a key focus of attention during implementation of the projects.
西海固是宁夏中南部贫困山区的代称,曾被联合国专家评价为“不具备人类生存的基本条件”。在西海固的脱贫攻坚路上,妇女既是重点工作对象,也是直接受益者,更是重要的参与主体。
