摘要
本文从认知—语用视角对汉英反义词共现构式语义结构的形成机制进行了对比。研究发现:1)突显、聚焦、视角和详略度识解方式是汉英反义词共现构式语义结构背后的认知动因;2)基于相同的识解方式,汉英语使用者往往能够产出形义对称的语义结构;基于不同的识解方式,则能够产出义对称而形不对称的语义结构;3)本研究从认知和语用相结合的视角为反义词共现构式语义结构的形成机制建构了一个系统的、可操作的分析模型,这种认知和语用相结合的方法无疑要比单一的认知或语用分析更具阐释力。
This paper makes a comparative study of the formation mechanism of semantic structures of Chinese and English antonym co-occurrence constructions from the cognitive-pragmatic perspective.The research findings are as follows:1)the construal devices of prominence,focusing,perspective and specificity are the cognitive motivations underlying Chinese and English antonym co-occurrence constructions;2)both the same and different construals lead to the production of different antonym co-occurrence constructions between Chinese and English native speakers,mainly including formal and semantic symmetry as well as semantic symmetry and formal asymmetry;and 3)the author creates an operable model on the linguistic level from the cognitive-pragmatic perspective and this combined research model proves to be much more explanatory than single cognitive or pragmatic model.
