TCM master ZHANG Zhi-yuan’s experience in the treatment of metrorrhagia by addition and subtraction of Liuhe Decoction Series

崩漏是妇科常见疾病,以月经周期紊乱、月经量多或经期延长及不规则阴道出血为主要表现,严重影响患者身体健康。张志远教授从事中医临床、教育、研究工作70余年,临床经验丰富,善用六合汤类方(即四物汤外加两味药,如:《济生方》六合汤、表实六合汤、表虚六合汤、柴胡六合汤、热六合汤、气六合汤、《易简方》六合汤以及张教授自拟六合汤等)加减治疗不同证型的崩漏,临床疗效显著。

Metrorrhagia is a common gynecological disease. Menstrual disorders, menorrhagia or menostaxis, and irregular vaginal bleeding are usually the cardinal symptom of this disease which seriously affect the patient’s physical health. Professor ZHANG Zhi-yuan had been engaged in clinical, educational and research work of traditional Chinese medicine for more than 70 years. He has rich clinical experience and makes good use of addition and subtraction of Liuhe Decoction Series(Siwu Decoction plus two herbs, for example: Liuhe Decoction in Jisheng Fang, Liuhe Decoction in Biaoshui, Liuhe Decoction in Bupleurum, Liuhe Decoction in Heat, Liuhe Decoction in qi, Liuhe Decoction in Yijian Fang and Liuhe Decoction prepared by professor ZHANG) in treating metrorrhagia of different syndrome types and has significant clinical efficacy.
