Urban Olfactory Design: for a Rehabilitation of Scents in Urban Space

气息设计与气味设计略有不同,气息设计是一套整体的项目设计,而不仅仅是研发一种香型。气息设计与嗅觉有关,它扩大了设计的感官范畴。气息设计是一种可实现的项目,它聚焦生态、关怀社会。本文选取法国设计师艾米莉·博纳德的三项气息设计案例用以诠释何为气息设计,以及在城市空间进行气息设计需要顺应当地具体的人文环境、地理条件。

A little bit different from the smell design,the olfactory design creates a global project of design rather than a perfume.The olfactory design concerns the sense of smell and diversifies the sensory range of design.It can be a feasible project with particular interests in ecology and sensitivity.This article introduces three projects conceived and practiced by French designer Emilie Bonnard to illustrate what olfactory design is.To realize the olfactory project in urban space,projects need to be adapted and adjusted to the local culture and the specific landscape.
