Objective To explore the effect of continuous nursing on postoperative rehabilitation,self-care ability and quality of life of patients with prostatic hyperplasia(BPH).Methods A total of 80 patients with BPH admitted to Liaoyang Central Hospital,Liaoning Province from March 2017 to December 2019 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method,40 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given continuous nursing. The postoperative recovery conditions of the two groups were compared, and the scores of the self-care ability scale(ESCA)and the WHOQO-BREF in the two groups were observed before and after intervention. Results After the intervention, postoperative anal exhaust time, first time out of bed and hospital stay time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).ESCA scores and WHOQO-BREF scores in both groups after intervention were higher than those before intervention, and ESCA scores and WHOQO-BREF scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of continuous nursing in patients with BPH is helpful in promoting postoperative physical rehabilitation, and improving self-care ability and quality of life.
