Insufficency and Imbalance Measurement of Household Income Growth

基于对Kakwani社会福利函数的新解读,明确其蕴含的分配不平衡测度指标,以社会福利函数的动态变化构建收入增长相对充分性测度指数来量化收入领域的不平衡不充分增长特征,并论证了该指数良好的可加性。进一步应用CFPS调查2010—2018年微观数据,对中国居民家庭在2010—2018年较长期阶段和2010—2012年、2012—2014年、2014—2016年、2016—2018年4个分阶段收入增长的相对充分性进行了测度,分东、中、西部及其城镇和农村家庭收入进行了较细化的对比分析。基于实证得出的丰富结论提出了提高中国居民家庭收入增长相对充分性、解决收入领域不充分不平衡问题的相关建议。

The insufficiency and imbalance measurement of household income is a new dynamic perspective.Based on the new interpretation of Kakwani’s social welfare function,the connotation of income adequacy index and distribution imbalance index are explored,and the dynamic changes of these indicators are used to construct the relative equilibrium index to measure the insufficiency and imbalance of household income distribution,and the additivity of these indicators is demonstrated.Applying the CFPS 2010-2018 micro survey data,the relative equilibrium of the income distribution of Chinese households in the relatively long-term period of 2010-2018 and the 4 phases of 2010-2012,2012-2014,2014-2016 and 2016-2018 are measured,and comparative analysis between the urban and rural in the eastern,central and western regions are made as well.Based on the empirical conclusions,relevant suggestions are put forward to solve the problems of insufficiency and imbalance in household income distribution field.
