Zhuangzi’s Technological Thought and Its Modern Enlightenment

庄子立足中国传统文化语境,建构出“人”“技”“道”统一的人与技术有机发展系统,通过源头认知与矛盾化解,将技术及其发展置于“人”在“道”的价值体系制衡中。庄子同时建构了一群精于技术、通于至道的技术思想家形象,将传统的技术定位由物质操作转向人文塑造,并立足生态维度引导人类的技术发展与自然万物和谐共存。庄子的技术思想启示现代社会重新思考技术在有机发展、生态伦理层面的发展进路,以及技术工作者与文化工作者的职能融合与技术的文化塑造问题。

In the context of Chinese traditional culture, Zhuangzi constructed a dynamic development system of humanand technology, which consists of “human”, “technology” and “Tao”. Meanwhile, he also constructed the images of a group of technological thinkers who were both proficientin technology and Tao, changed the traditional technology orientation from material operation to human shaping andguided the harmonious coexistence of technology development and nature in the ecological dimension. Zhuangzi’stechnology thought can enlighten people in the modern society to rethink the development approach of technology insystematic growth and ecological ethics, and also the functional integration of technical workers and cultural workersand the humanity shape of technology.
