女性受教育程度、子女数量与家庭收入关系研究

On the Relations among Female Educational Level,Number of Children and Family Income

文章基于2018年中国家庭追踪调查(CFPS)中7665个家庭的数据,通过OLS回归分析了在“全面二孩”政策下,女性受教育程度与家庭收入之间的关系。研究发现,女性受教育程度与家庭收入有显著的正向相关关系,随着女性受教育程度的提高,家庭收入也会随之增加;女性受教育程度的提高对子女数量有抑制作用,从而间接提高家庭收入;子女数量在女性受教育程度影响家庭收入上起中介调节作用。文章的研究结果具有一定的政策启示,社会各界应给予女性更多的医疗资源和教育资源保护,缓解女性在家庭和工作上的选择压力。

Based on the data of 7665 families in the China Family Tracking Survey(CFPS)in 2018,this paper analyzes the relationship between the female educational level and their family income under the“comprehensive two-child”policy through OLS regression.As found in the study,there is a significant positive correlation between females’educational level and their family income,and with the increase of females’educational level,their family income will increase,while females’educational level has an inhibitory effect on the number of children,thus indirectly raising the family income,and the number of children plays a mediating role in the influence of females’educational level on family income.The study results of this paper have certain policy implications,so all sectors of society should give women more protection in medical resources and educational resources so as to alleviate the pressure of females’choices in family and work.
