西方学者提出英汉同源假设由来已久。人类文明发源于大湘西,早期人类通用高庙糯语,古埃及象形字符可破译为高庙糯语,这些都是英汉同源于高庙糯语的力证。以-mb结尾且b不发音、陶器类、食品烹饪类等基础词语,以及名词复数、动词过去式、人物词尾变化等语法规则,都可用英汉同源理念来解读。英汉同源于高庙糯语揭示了语言源流真相,对改革语言教学、增强民众文化自信、扩大对外开放具有积极意义。

Western scholars have proposed a long-standing hypothesis that English and Chinese are cognates.Since human civilization was originated from the Western Hunan in China,the Gaomiao Nuoyu was the early common language.Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic characters,which can be decoded as Gaomiao Nuoyu,is a hard evidence of the fact that English and Chinese are both originated from this language.Basic words,like those ending with-mb that the b is unpronounced,and those about pottery and food cooking,as well as grammar rules such as plural nouns,past tense of verbs and endings change of the doer of action can all be interpreted with the idea of homology between Chinese and English.This paper reveals the truth of language origin,which is of positive significance to the reform of language teaching,the enhancement of people's cultural self-confidence,the expansion of opening to the outside world.
