口腔医学专业会议中女性讲者特点及学术影响力分析

Analysis of Characteristics and Academic Influence of Female Speakers in Professional Conferences of Stomatology

目的研究评价2019年口腔医学学术会议中女性讲者的现状,为口腔医学学术领导力多样性建设提供依据。方法选取2019年全国口腔医学学术会议讲者信息,分析学术报告讲者的性别分布,比较不同学术会议、不同亚学科之间女性讲者比例的差异,并评估讲者的工作单位和职称分布。结果本研究共纳入5次会议、580名讲者(人次)信息,其中女性214人次(36.9%),男性为366人次(63.1%),男女比例为1.7:1。女性讲者的比例在不同学术会议之间的差异无统计学意义(p>0.05)、在不同亚学科之间的差异有统计学意义(p<0.001)。讲者中约九成来自高校且具有高级职称。结论2019年口腔医学学术会议中,女性讲者的比例低于男性讲者,不同亚学科之间存在明显差异,高校和高级职称专家承担了主要学术报告工作,学术领导力多样性建设有待加强。

Objective To study and evaluate the current situation of female speakers in the stomatology academic conferences in 2019,and to provide a basis for construction of the diversity of academic leadership in stomatology.Methods The information of the speakers of the national stomatology academic conferences in 2019 was selected.The gender distribution of the academic oral reporters was analyzed.The differences in the proportion of female speakers between different academic conferences and different subdisciplines were compared,and the distribution of speakers’work organizations and job titles were evaluated.Results This study included information of 5 meetings and 580 speakers(person-times)information,of which 214(36.9%)were women and 366(63.1%)were men,and the ratio of men to women was 1.7:1.There was no statistically significant difference in the proportion of female speakers between different academic conferences(p>0.05),and the difference between different subdisciplines was statistically significant(p<0.001).About 90%of the speakers were from colleges and universities and held senior titles.Conclusion In the stomatology academic conferences in 2019,the proportion of female speakers was lower than that of male speakers.There were obvious differences between different subdisciplines.Experts with senior titles undertook the main work of oral academic reports.The construction of academic leadership diversity needs to be strengthened.
