摘要 近年来,面向非英语专业本科生的英语学术写作课程设计受到关注。本文基于系统功能语言学悉尼学派以及专用英语学派两大体裁理论,结合学术英语写作研究及教学的近期成果,对EFL学术写作构念进一步分层细化描述,并围绕学术语篇的修辞目的、体裁结构、词汇语法特点以及学术引用规范,设计了课程教学内容及教法。文章最后以教学实例演示课程设计,进一步展开探讨。 In recent years,for Chinese universities,the English academic writing course design targeting EFL undergraduates has become a topic of concern.This paper,based on genre theories of two schools,i.e.the Sydney school of Systemic Functional Linguistics(SFL)and the school of English for Specific Purposes(ESP),together with the latest trend in research and teaching of English academic writing,further specifies the constituents in the EFL academic writing construct.With this refinement of the construct,the course content and teaching procedures are then designed,centering on the rhetorical purpose,generic structure,lexico-grammatical resources,and academic citation conventions of English academic texts.The paper concludes with a demonstration of the course design,displayed with authentic course materials,in the hope of promoting teaching undergraduates English academic writing in other universities.
