新时期政治文献对外翻译:理念更新、与时俱进才是硬道理

China’s Political Document Translation Calls for a New Mindset

本文认为,在当下倡导"共建人类命运共同体"的新形势下,我国的政治文献对外翻译有必要在翻译理念上有所更新。本文就为什么及如何更新翻译理念进行了阐述,指出:要"讲好中国故事"并自塑良好的中国形象,"紧扣原文"的旧观念亟待突破,翻译理念的更新势在必行;同时强调,在"政治正确"的前提下,我国政治文献对外翻译应更新理念,着眼于国际通行的政治话语规范,用贴近译语"自然文体"的语言进行翻译,这有助于我国政治话语体系的构建并让世界听懂中国的声音。一句话,新时期我国政治文献对外翻译要有更大起色,理念更新、与时俱进才是硬道理。

The author of this paper holds that,in the new era of"building a human community with a shared future",it is very necessary for China’s political document translation to renew its translation concept. The paper discusses why and how to renew the translation concept,pointing out that,in order to fulfill the task of "Tell Well the China’s Stories"and mould well the China’s image in the world,the conventional translation concept of"sticking to the original"needs a reconsderation and a renewed translation concept is a compelling choice. Furthemore,on the premise of political correctness,such a renewed concept should be dished out by using the language close to a TL natural style in putting the essence of China’s political document across,In other words,So long as we can upgrade China’s political document translation concepts and strategies in the new era,China’s image along with its stories will win more hearts and minds in the world.
