With the popularization of computer application in engineering design,the application of 3D design software in petroleum,chemical industry,medicine,new energy,new materials and other industries is becoming more and more extensive,and the design and construction of many large petrochemical projects are inseparable from 3D design software.Several popular design softwares in factory design at home and abroad include PDS,PDMS,AutoPlant,SmartPlant3D and so on.Mastering skilled modeling skills,applying the software better in engineering design,and completing design tasks quickly and accurately are the goals pursued by our piping engineers.This paper analyzes and discusses some skills and difficulties of PDMS 3D design software in engineering pipeline design of petrochemical and pharmaceutical industry.
