In the environment of quality-oriented education,teachers should timely change their educational philosophy,fully combine the students'learning ability and personality characteristics,apply situational teaching method to classroom teaching,enhance the emotional communication between teachers and students,improve students'academic performance,and enhance students'English core competence.This paper analyzes the problems existing in English teaching,and explores the creation of situations in English teaching,so as to improve the efficiency and quality of English teaching.
