As a common art classroom teaching method,demonstration teaching can stimulate students'interest in art learning,let students give full play to their imagination and creativity,and draw art works with personal characteristics.This paper analyzes the characteristics and functions of art classroom demonstration teaching,introduces the forms of demonstration teaching,and discusses the promotion strategies of art classroom demonstration teaching based on the new curriculum standard,so as to improve the efficiency of art classroom teaching and improve the students'core competence of art discipline.
