摘要
本文系统讨论了EFL教材的特点、属性与特性,重点评述EFL本地化教材在编写、使用和评价、内容分析、应用可视化策略和新科技的过程中出现的问题和亟待研究的课题。本文认为EFL本地化教材具有两个不可调和的内在矛盾,即教材的教学工具属性与商品属性之间的矛盾、教学工具属性与课标代言人特性之间的矛盾。解决这些矛盾需要学界对教材编写者的能力、教师的知识、教材出版商的经营模式和教育政策制定者的作用进行深入探究。
This study explores the characteristics and properties of local EFL textbooks,and discusses the problems and research issues involved in the writing of EFL localized textbooks,its use and evaluation,content analysis,as well as the application of visualization and new technologies related to the development of EFL localized materials.The authors argue that,given the two irreconcilable conflicts inherent to EFL localized textbooks,the Chinese EFL circle needs to join efforts to conduct in-depth research related to localized EFL materials in terms of material writers’ability,teachers’knowledge,publishers’business models,and education policy makers’roles.
