泸州市老年人艾滋病相关知识态度和行为调查

A survey of AIDS-related knowledge,attitude and behavior among the elderly in Luzhou

目的了解泸州市老年人(年龄≥50岁)艾滋病相关知识、态度和行为,为针对性地开展老年人艾滋病教育工作提供依据。方法采用多阶段抽样的方法,于2019年10月至2020年1月对泸州市≥50岁老年人进行面对面问卷调查。结果在纳入研究的老年人中,艾滋病知识总知晓率为30.9%(209/676),年龄、居住地、人均月收入、参加过艾滋病培训与否是知晓率的影响因素。艾滋病歧视得分总分均值为(3.03±0.57)分,在歧视各维度中,第一维度(担心感染)得分最高。艾滋病基本知识知晓率与歧视态度呈负相关(r=-0.383,P<0.001)。老年人安全套使用率不高,仅有7.1%(48/676)在最近一年发生性行为时每次均使用安全套。多因素Logistic回归分析结果表明:男性,年龄段50~59岁,未婚/离异/丧偶,务农/无业是老年人发生临时性行为的危险因素。结论老年人艾滋病基本知识知晓率低,对艾滋病的歧视比较严重,特别是农村居民,应加强对该人群的艾滋病宣传教育力度,提高知晓率,降低对艾滋病患者的歧视,减少危险性行为。

Objective To understand HIV/AIDS-related knowledge,attitude and behavior among the elderly(age≥50 years)in Luzhou city,so as to provide basis for HIV/AIDS education among them.Methods A face-to-face questionnaire survey was conducted among the elderly aged≥50 years in Luzhou from October 2019 to January 2020 by multi-stage sampling method.Results Among the elderly included in the study,the total awareness rate of HIV/AIDS knowledge was 30.9%(209/676).Age,place of residence,per capita monthly income and receiving HIV training were the factors that affected the awareness rate.The mean score of HIV/AIDS discrimination was 3.03±0.57,with the highest score in the first dimension(fear of being infected).The awareness rate of basic knowledge about HIV/AIDS was negatively correlated with discriminatory attitudes(r=-0.383,p<0.001).The rate of condom use among the elderly was low,with only 7.1%(48/676)using condoms every time they had sex in the last year.The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that male,age group of 50-59 years old,the unmarried/divorced/widowed,farmers and the unemployed were risk factors for the elderly to have temporary sexual behaviors.Conclusion The awareness rate of HIV/AIDS basic knowledge among the elderly is low,and the discrimination against HIV/AIDS is serious,especially the rural residents.It is necessary to strengthen the HIV/AIDS publicity and education for this population,so as to improve the awareness rate,reduce the discrimination against HIV/AIDS patients,and reduce the risk of sexual behavior.
