白居易与关盼盼

Bai Juyi and Guan Panpan

中唐诗人白居易,曾经以诗句赞美才女关盼盼。《全唐诗》里收有关盼盼的四首诗,大约是根据白居易的《白氏长庆集》和计有功的《唐诗纪事》。关盼盼与苏小小一样,被誉为“诗人”,其实也是被文人夸张渲染成的。苏小小没有留下任何诗作。白居易写过吟咏关盼盼的诗作是真切的,白居易的诗集里记载得明明白白。计有功的《唐诗纪事》,以虚假“纪事”的逻辑,将关盼盼的绝食而死,说成是由白居易那首“绝句”造成的,换言之,正是白居易以诗逼死了为张愔守节不嫁的关盼盼。细读白居易的《燕子楼三首》,字里行间流溢着诗人对关盼盼的同情和哀怜。关盼盼的死,与白居易的《感故张仆射诸妓》诗无关;关盼盼的青史留名,却是因为白居易的《燕子楼三首》。

Bai Juyi,the poet of the Middle Tang Dynasty,once praised the talented woman Guan Panpan with poems.All Tang Poetry contains four poems about Guan Panpan,from Bai Juyi's Bai's Changqing Collection and Ji Yougong's Tang Poetry Chronicle.Guan Panpan was known as“poet”like Su Xiaoxiao,which was exaggerated by the intellectuals actually.Su Xiaoxiao didn't left any poems.It was true that Bai Juyi wrote poems for Guan Panpan,which was recorded clearly in Bai Juyi's collections.With a false logic in Ji Yougong's Tang Poetry Chronicle,Guan Panpan's death of hunger strike was described as the result of Bai Juyi's“Jueju”,in another word,it was Bai Juyi's poem that caused the death of Guan Panpan who remained unmarried for Zhang Yin.Reading Bai Juyi's Three Poems of Swallow House,it was overflowing with the poet's sympathy and pity for Guan Panpan between the words and lines.The death of Guan Panpan had nothing to do with Bai Juyi's Thankful to Pushe Zhang's Prostitutes;Guan Pan-pan's having a name in history was because of Bai Juyi's Three Poems of Swallow House.
