试论高校英语教师思辨能力的提升

摘要 思辨是指运用逻辑推导而进行的理论性、概念性思维。广义的理解,思辨活动也包括各种思维方式的交叉运用。我们所说的思辨能力,是运用各种思维方式而理性地认识事物的能力。其中,反思能力、批判性思维能力、独立思考能力,构成了思辨能力的主要特征。教育部2015年颁布的《高等学校外语类专业本科教学质量国家标准》中特别强调了思辨能力是学生的核心能力之一,教师的教学在多大程度上对学生进行了思辨能力的培养和提升,成为检验外语教学是否合格的一个重要指标。在外语教学中,提升学生思辨能力之所以重要,原因是多方面的。在外语教学中,提升学生的思辨能力,关键在于外语教师。只有外语教师有国际化的视野及较高的思辨能力,其才能在教学过程中自觉地启发、引导、培养学生的思辨能力。大学英语教师的思辨能力状况不容乐观,思辨型的大学英语教师的培养途径在于提升思辨意识,不断地进行学习及反思,通过相关培训提升教学嵌入思辨技能,积极参加社会实践,开展经常、深入的科研活动。 Critical thinking ability refers to theoretical and conceptual thinking via logical derivation,generally speaking,it includes the cross-application of various ways of thinking.Critical thinking ability in this essay refers to the ability to understand things rationally through various ways of thinking,among which,self-reflection and independent thinking constitute its main characteristics.The National Standards for Teaching Quality of Foreign Language and Literature Majors in Higher Education issued by the Ministry of Education in 2015 particularly emphasized that critical thinking ability is one of the core competences for college students.And the students'critical thinking ability has become an important indicator of the foreign language teaching quality.In foreign language teaching,teachers are the key to improving students'thinking ability.Only with international vision and high critical thinking ability,can foreign language teachers consciously inspire,guide,and cultivate students'critical thinking ability in teaching.However,according some surveys,the situation of college English teachers'critical thinking is far from satisfactory.Thereby,college English teachers need to enhance their critical thinking consciousness,continuously study and reflect,take professional training,participate in social practice actively and carry out regular and in-depth scientific research activities.
