以莲池鸳鸯纹为代表的莲池小景是元青花上常见的装饰纹样,出现频率高,散布区域广阔。在伊朗阿特比尔清真寺与土耳其托甫卡普·沙奈博物馆这两处重要的元青花收藏地中,莲池纹可见于各式碗盘、瓶罐。此外,除我国景德镇、新疆、甘肃、装饰莲池纹的青花器还被发现于蒙古、印度、埃及、菲律宾等地。

The lotus pond scenery,represented by Pattern of Mandarin Duck in Lotus Pond,is a commonly-seen decorative pattern on blue-and-white porcelains of the Yuan Dynasty.It appears frequently and spreads in many places.In Ardebil Shrine in Iran and the Topkapi Sarayi Museum in Turkey,which are two important collectors of blue-and-white porcelains of the Yuan Dynasty,pattern of lotus pond can be found on all kinds of bowls,plates,vases and pots.In addition to Jingdezhen,Xinjiang and Gansu in China,blue-and-white porcelains with pattern of lotus pond have also been found in Mongolia,India,Egypt,the Philippines and other parts of the world.
