The application of the theory of equilibrium solidification in the production of pancake iron castings has been introduced in the text.By starting from the principle,the process characteristics of processing pancake iron castings have been analyzed while the specific process parameters have been determined and the blank holder riser size has been calculated,thereby solving the insufficient traditional casting process.
