《达洛维夫人》是弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫的经典代表作之一,作品描述了女主人公克拉丽莎一天的生活细节,以此来反映当时的英国社会现状。该文着重从个人、家庭和社会三个方面探讨女主人公女性意识觉醒和形成的原因,提出女性要有自己独立自由的生活,要积极地争取权利和地位的平等,进而呼唤世人对女性社会地位的重新思考。

“Mrs.Dalloway”is one of Virginia Woolf’s classic representative works.The writer depicts the details of protagonist’s life in one day so as to reflect the British society at that time.This paper focuses on the causes of Clarissa’s female consciousness from the aspects of personal and family factors.And this paper proposes that women should have their own free and independent life and then awakens the world to reconsider women’s social status.
