摘要
在主要以学术声誉为评价指标的背景下,如何提高一流大学的教学质量成为学术界关注的热点。教学质量的提升依赖于教师的教学能力,而新教师的教学发展是起点,也是关键点。密歇根大学以教学中心为核心部门促进新教师的教学发展,主要开展的项目包括入职培训、培养未来教师的会议、大量的研讨班、针对新教师的短期课程,以及高校教师资格证项目等等。针对教师学术压力较大,参加教学发展项目的时间、动力和兴趣都有限等状况,密歇根大学的措施为:多样化之中有所侧重;以服务为导向,以强制为辅助;采用全程评估。
How to improve the teaching quality of the first-class university has become a hot topic in academic circles under the background that the construction of the first-class university. This development mainly takes the academic reputation as the evaluation index. The improvement of teaching quality depends on the development of teachers’ teaching ability. The development of new teachers is the starting point and key point of teachers’ teaching improvement. The University of Michigan takes the teaching center as the core department to promote the teaching development of new teachers. The main projects it carries out include orientation training,meetings for training future teachers,a large number of seminars,short courses for new teachers,and university teacher certification program. In view of the high academic pressure of teachers and the limited time,motivation and interest to participate in teaching development projects,the measures taken by the University of Michigan are as follows:focus and diversity,taking service as the orientation and force as the auxiliary,and use a whole-process assessment.
