旅游化与美好生活——基于33个沿海城市2000—2019年面板数据

Touristization and Better Life:An Analysis Based on Panel Data of 33 Coastal Cities from 2000 to 2019

基于我国33个沿海城市2000—2019年面板数据,在构建指标体系并运用熵值法测度居民美好生活水平的基础上,借助基准回归和门槛回归,探究旅游化和居民美好生活间的非线性关系及其作用机制。结果表明:(1)旅游化对居民美好生活存在单门槛效应,门槛值为1.740;(2)经济发展水平是影响居民美好生活的首要和关键因素;(3)旅游化水平对居民美好生活的促进作用呈现递增趋势,入境旅游在越过门槛值后产生负向阻碍作用;(4)城镇化率、政府支持力度等因素对居民美好生活的提升具有不同程度的促进作用。从认识旅游化动态过程、转变旅游经济增长方式、加强城市基础设施建设方面提出建议。

Meeting people’s growing needs of better life is the essence of touristization.Based on the panel data of 33 coastal cities in China from 2000 to 2019,this paper systematically constructed an indicator system and measured the better life standard according to the entropy method.The baseline model and threshold model were used to explore the nonlinear relationship between touristization and better life standard,and further reveal its mechanism.The results show that:(1)Touristization has a single threshold effect on people’s better life,with a threshold of 1.740;(2)The level of economic development is the primary factor affecting the better life standard;(3)The promotion effect of touristization on the better life shows an increasing trend,on the contrary,inbound tourism has an inhibitory effect after crossing the threshold;(4)Factors such as urbanization rate and government support have different degrees of promotion for the improvement of people’s better life.On this basis,proposing recommendations from four aspects to promote the coordinated development of touristization and people’s better life:understanding the dynamic process of touristization,changing the way of tourism economic growth,and strengthening urban infrastructure construction,etc.
