Life of Ordinary People in Song Dynasty:A Study in Huizong Period

北宋无论是经济水平还是市民生活一直为后人所津津乐道,这体现在诸多名家大师的画作以及小说回忆录之中,尤其是北宋都城开封(史称东京),在当时简直就是经济繁荣以及歌舞升平的代名词。宋徽宗时期是北宋覆灭的前夕,其治下的东京城却在《清明上河图》与《东京梦华录》中体现得如诗如画,然而此时北宋的开封的常民生活是否有如画卷诗篇般惬意丰饶,后人却难以完全了解。

The economic level and civic life of Northern Song Dynasty has long been a subject of interest,which is reflected in paintings and fictional memoirs by many great masters.Kaifeng,the capital city of Northern Song Dynasty(known as Dongjing historically),was synonymous with economic prosperity and singing and dancing.The Huizong period of Song Dynasty was the eve of the fall of Northern Song Dynasty,but Dongjing under the reign of Huizong was described as a picturesque city in Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival and Dongjing Menghua Lu.However,it is difficult for later generations to fully understand whether the life of ordinary people in Kaifeng in Northern Song Dynasty was as pleasant and prosperous as paintings and poems.
