环境智能下老龄用户方向性手势交互偏好研究

摘要 目的方向性手势指用空间中肢体运动的方向来表示其含义的一类交互手势语言。考虑到老龄用户自身的认知习惯,需要研究该群体对面向环境智能交互的方向性手势在任务语义——运动方向映射上的偏好。方法根据认知语言学基本理论,通过快速反应实验、用户自我评价和实景评价3个阶段,让老年被试评判从特定任务的词义联想到三维空间运动方向的程度,从而得到其对于方向性手势的偏好。结果老龄用户认为某些任务和特定方向的关联性更显著,这些任务更适合用朝该方向划动的手势来表达;老龄用户对方向性手势的总体偏好与年轻群体差别不大。结论通过判定偏好的基础分和差异显著性,可以得出一些任务——方向的语义关联度较高的手势,从而为智能环境下老年人群交互方式的研究提供有益的建议。 Directional gestures are those that represent specific meanings with the direction of in-air upper-limb movement.Considering the cognitive habits of elderly users,this paper investigates their preferences for the mapping of interactive tasks under ambient intelligence to the moving directions of directional gestures.Based on the theories in the domain of cognitive linguistics,a study is conducted with three steps-rapid reaction test,self-evaluation and in-situ evaluation,thus to elicit the directional gestures for each task by allowing elderly users to assess the degree they can associate a specific verb with moving directions.Elderly users report a higher association of particular tasks with some directions,indicating that the tasks are more appropriate to be represented with a mid-air stroke moving in these directions.In addition,the preferences of the elderly for directional stroke is slightly different from those of the young.A number of gestures with the moving directions having high semantic association with the task are selected as each of them is much higher rated by subjects over the other gestures.With these results,designers may have insights into the interactive styles of elderly users for ambient intelligence.
