The Historical Background and Characteristics of the Founding of the CPC

中国共产党的诞生是人民的选择、历史的选择,是中国革命发展的客观需要,具有特殊的历史背景:一是近代中华民族的危亡呼唤一个伟大的政党,二是马克思主义的传播提供了理论准备,三是近代工人阶级队伍的壮大准备了阶级基础,四是20世纪初的国际环境提供了有利的外部条件。中国共产党的创立具有与世界上其它国家共产党不同的特点:一是创建进程比较迅速,二是以俄共(布)为榜样,三是努力坚持组织上的独立自主原则,四是维护党中央的集中统一领导,五是始终坚持马克思主义理论的指导,六是实行统一的无产阶级纪律的战斗组织,七是理论准备存在不足。中国共产党的创立具有开天辟地的伟大意义。

The birth of the CPC was the choice of the people and the history,and it was an objective demand of the development of Chinese revolution.It had a special historical background:first,the peril of the Chinese nation called for a great party;second,the spreading of Marxism prepared the theoretical foundation;third,the expansion of the working class in modern China prepared the class foundation;and fourth,the international environment in the beginning of the 20 th century provided favorable external conditions.The founding of the CPC had characteristics different from other communist parties in the rest of the world:first,the process of founding was completed more quickly;second,the founding of the CPC followed the example of Russian Communist Party(Bolshevik);third,the principle of organizational independence was insisted;fourth,the centralized and unified leadership of the party central committee was maintained;fifth,the guide of Marxism was always upheld;sixth,the unified organization of proletariat discipline was implemented;and seventh,the theoretical preparation was not made sufficiently.The founding of the CPC had an epoch-making significance.
