摘要
本研究采用语法判断任务和测后勘误考察120名中国学生对9个类型的英语非定式小句句法习得状况,结果表明,非定式小句的句法环境、主语的隐现和语言水平对中国学生习得英语非定式小句的知识均产生显著影响。被试在动词补足语结构中判断非定式小句准确率显著高于附加语环境中的非定式小句;补足语结构中,对无主语结构的判断好于有主语结构;附加语环境中,主语同指结构好于主语异指结构。高水平的英语学习者更倾向使用非定式小句,初级水平学习者多使用两个独立简单句,而中级水平者多使用状语复合句。
A survey of 120 Chinese students’ acquisition of nine types of English non-finite clauses by grammar judgment tasks and post-test errata shows that the syntactic environment, overtness or covertness of subject and the language proficiency of learners have a significant influence on Chinese students’ acquisition of English non-finite clauses. The accuracy rate of judging the non-finite clause in the complement is significantly higher than that in the context of adjunct. The judgment of structures with covert subjects is better than that of structures with overt subjects in the complement context. The judgement of structures with subjects of the same reference performs better than that of different reference in the context of adjunct. English learners with high proficiency tend to use non-finite clauses, and the low group tends to use two independent simple sentences, while intermediate lear-ners tend to use adverbial compound sentences.
