Scenery description is a key technique in novel creation. Scenery description does not only praise the beauty of scenery,but also plays an important role in promoting the development of plot and setting off the image of characters. The background of information technology provides a new way to appreciate Lu Xun’s works in junior high school Chinese. Taking Lu Xun’s hometown as an example,this paper analyzes the core artistic value of scenery description in Lu Xun’s works in junior high school Chinese under the background of information technology.
