Weihe River Overview and Weihe River in the Early Qing Dynasty

国家图书馆藏《卫河全览》,是顺治八年卫河使马光裕编绘的一部治水图说。此图采用形象画法,绘制卫河河源至卫河汇入临清之间的河道情况。清初的河工治理和漕粮转运制度基本承袭明代。《卫河全览》河道全图及图说,既反映了马光裕治理卫河的成果,同时刻绘了顺治年间卫河漕粮转运的诸多细节,是研究明末清初卫河通漕的重要史料。

The National Library has a collection of Weihe River Overview,which is a water-control map compiled by Ma Guangyu,the officer of Weihe River in the eighth year of the reign of Emperor Shunzhi.This map uses the image painting method to draw the channel situation between the source of Weihe River and its confluence into Linqing.The river management and grain transport system in the early Qing Dynasty were basically inherited from the Ming Dynasty.The whole map of Weihe River Overview and its description not only reflect the achievements of Ma Guangyu’s governance of the Weihe River,but also draw many details of the grain transport of the Weihe River during the reign of Shunzhi.It is an important historical data for the study of the canals of Weihe River in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.
