In view of the problems existing in the conventional large-scale adding ladder,multi-specialty combination and integrated technology innovation,a split-level construction design method of adding small elevators close to existing residential buildings with high applicability is developed,and the practical engineering application has been demonstrated successfully. Finally,the prospects of technological innovation of adding elevators to the old building are put forward.
