The period of the second civil war was an stage for the CPC to grow from a weak party to a strong one.In order to defeat the powerful enemy and strengthen itself,the CPC must unite all forces it can to establish a revolutionary united front.However,due to the wrong guidance of the communist international,the CPC made major mistakes in uniting the Kuomintang against Chiang kai-shek and resisting Japan,in giving up its own interests in armed defense of the Soviet union,and in the nature and object of China’s revolution,which brought negative effects on the revolutionary cause and left a bitter historical lesson.This article has carried on the thorough discussion to this.
