华中币与人民币的统一工作述评

A Review on the Unification of Central China Currency and RMB

华中银行是解放战争时期苏皖边区设立的一家重要银行,其发行的华中币在华中地区广泛通行。随着解放战争临近尾声,中央决心以人民币统一各解放区市场,结束不同解放区币种互不统一、彼此混杂的现象。在华中财委的有力部署下,通过收兑华中币与各地方抗币、打击金圆券银元等敌币的方式,以人民币为中心的本位币体系很快在华中地区建立起来,为本地区的经济恢复与发展创造了良好条件。

Central China Bank was an important bank established in the Suwan Border Region during the War of Liberation.As the War of Liberation drew to a close,the central government was determined to unify the markets in the liberated areas with RMB and to end the fragmentation and intermingling of currencies in the different liberated areas.With the strong deployment of the central China Finance Committee,by cashed central China currency and local currencies,and fighting against hostile currencies such as goldyuannotesand silver yuan,with the RMB as the center standard,currency system was quickly established in central China,and good conditions have been created for the economic recovery and development of the region.
