通信工程专业英语教学方法探讨

摘要 专业英语为高等学校通信工程专业的学生在阅读英文文献、撰写本领域英文论文等方面提供必要的基础。结合通信工程专业自身特点,专业英语的教学在学习本专业所需专业词汇的基础上,通过研读通信工程专业教学与科研实践中大量的“不成熟初稿”,向学生介绍专业英语写作中的常见错误,使学生避免写作误区,进而提高用英语进行专业写作的技能。同时,为强化通信工程专业英语教学的另一个重要目的——国际合作与交流,在专业英语教学过程中,引入传统外语教学方式,即在课堂上设计大量的朗读、对话环节,不仅能够强化专业词汇的掌握,又可激发学生的学习热情,以弥补目前专业英语教学在国际交流上存在的不足。 Professional English has offered fundamental assistance for students majoring in Communication Engineering to read professional literatures and write technical essays.Due to the inherit property,professional English teaching,based on the teaching of the technical terms in communication engineering,studies"immature manuscripts"in professional teaching and scientific research,and helps students to avoid mistakes in their writing and enhance their professional writing skills.In the meantime,to realize another important goal of the professional English learning:global cooperation and communications,the traditional teaching methods are introduced,namely abundant reciting and dialogues designed,to better students'understanding of professions terminologies,arouse their learning enthusiasm and make up deficiencies of current professional English teaching in the international cooperation and exchanges.
